Columbia Art and Drafting was established in 1990 and has been located at the same location since inception; 1515 E Burnside St., Portland, OR 97214. Bang Tran, owner, started the business as a small drafting supply store selling drafting tables, drafting machines, drawing tubes and portfolios. Today, Columbia is Portland’s largest independently owned art store. Columbia Art also manufactures artist portfolios, pencil and marker cases and brush cases that he sells under the name Tran Products.
